Terms of Use
Last updated 18 October 2026
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using SET
SET is a free, personal, non-commercial game for you and your friends. You do not need an account. Please use the site the way it was designed: through a normal web browser.
Playing fair and being kind
- Do not use nicknames that are hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, illegal, or that impersonate someone else.
- Do not attack, scan, overload, or reverse engineer the service, and do not try to get around its rate limits or room limits.
- Do not use scripts or bots to join rooms or flood the server. The built-in SET Bot is the only automated player.
Hosts can remove players from their room. I may remove rooms or block access for anyone who abuses the service.
Rooms are temporary
Rooms and scores are kept in memory and can disappear at any time, for example when a room empties or the server restarts. The service may be changed, interrupted, or shut down without notice.
Trademarks and ownership
SET® and the original card game belong to their owners. This site is an unofficial fan project; see Credits. The source code of this site is released under the CC0 1.0 public domain dedication.
No warranty and limit of liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.
Changes
I may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version. See also the Privacy Policy. Questions? Email [email protected].
